Basics 📚
Upgrade your Mac "defaults"
These apps keep my Mac clean, organized, and running like a dream. They’re the foundation of my setup, and once you use them, you’ll wonder how you lived without them.
Bartender
Menu Bar
Organization
— Get it here
This app basically helps you organize all the stuff you have inside your menubar. Which I know sometimes can be very messy. It creates a small 3 dot menu that you can expand and access to your same tools as you did before. Definitely a must to not make your mac look like your browser full of extensions.
CleanShot X
Screenshots
Editor
— Get it here
This one has been one of the best screenshots tools I've tried. It has the ability to take screenshots, GIFs, Record screen with your mac audio (which I always use for meetings with clients). It also has a great editing panel that you can add backgrounds, blur and customize the screenshot the way you want. Another great addition is the ability to upload every screenshot to their cloud to easily share via an URL (I usually do this when I want to show a screen recording to a client)
Clean My Mac
File Manager
Protection
— Get it here
I personally don't love how Mac handles the uninstalling apps process, there's where I found this app, which basically besides that simple thing, offers me plenty of features for Cleaning up space, checking for virus and managing performance on the daily usage. Basically it does what its name says… Clean My Mac.
Dropzone
Files
Extension
— Get it here
Imagine having a "Digital Drawer" on your mac… Well basically this is it. Let's say you have to move things from a folder to another; Just drag and drop them into Dropzone where they'll stay there until you need them back. It also has features like making ZIP files, sending via WeTransfer, Airdrop and many more.
AirBuddy
Bluetooth
Manager
— Get it here
This app manages way more easy the way you connect your Apple devices. You know when you open your AirPods and a small window shows on your iPhone showing them? Well.. that's it but for Mac and no more Bluetooth headaches.

You know the "Dynamic Island" Apple launched a few years ago for the iPhone 14 with the app interactions / animations, etc…? Well, this app lets you turn your Mac "Notch" into a similar thing.
Squash
Compress
Images
— Get it here
It lets you compress, bulk, resize, enhance, convert, rename, add watermarks and more to any image. Best of all is that you can do any of those things for multiple images at the same time. I personally use it a lot to compress large images to smaller for web projects.
Boom
Video
Meetings
— Get it here
This one got me very impressed. Because its an app that lets you create custom layouts for your video calls like Zoom / Google Meet / etc… It lets you add things like your timezone, your name, role, speaking time and many more. For me personally I used the timezone and it has been super awesome to see the reaction of clients when seeing that on my video.

This is a great and quick media converter, throw in any media file with any format and convert it to the one you're looking for. Pretty easy and straightforward to use.

These apps are perfect for keeping your Mac and iPhone in sync, helping you stay on top of your tasks, habits, and ideas—no matter where you are.
Awesome Habits
Habits
Tracker
— Get it here
One of the daily apps I use, I track my water, workouts, readings and posture here. It has a very easy to use widget which I have on my homescreen and I update all of them from my phone or sometimes on my watch.
Timemator
Time
Tracker
— Get it here
I usually need to do some works and rate them per hour, so with this one I can do that, by applying the price per hour and start tracking the time I spend doing a task. It's also super great, because it lets you organize tasks by folders and colors, so you're not just "using a timer"
Structured
Day
Tracker
— Get it here
This one is a MUST if you're starting or you're into structuring or organizing your daily tasks per day. The first week I used this app, it changed my life because I was never a fan of doing it by using my personal / work calendar… I felt that was overwhelming. But with this, I can know that all my daily tasks like waking up, reading, workout, have lunch and etc… are all in 1 single app that can also (optional) sync with your life / work calendar and not mix stuff.
Headway
Books
Summaries
— Get it here
This one is SO GOOD, because sometimes I prefer to hear, instead of reading. So this one gives you basically bite-sized book summaries you can finish in 15 minutes or less from a giant library of popular books, so you can also test and see if its worthy to read the whole thing. Amazing
Paste
Clipboard
Manager
— Get it here
This one is one of my most used ones, I used it on my Mac and iPhone and it's basically a "Clipboard Manager" where everything you copy across devices, gets a storage here and you can access to it anywhere anytime.
